ABOUT US

Strawberry Films may be a boutique production house, but we have big plans and big ideas (you should see the size of our light bulbs).

We're based deep among the lush green strawberry fields of the southeast, right beside the River Slaney, but we work nationwide.

We love creating all kinds of films, be they weddings, corporate events, advertisements or pieces of fiction. We don't like to settle for "just okay", we like our films naturally fresh, 100% organic, and a bit juicy - just like - well you know.

WEDDINGS

Whether it took a week, a year or decades of planning, as sure as there's a beak on a crow, your wedding day and all its glory will pass in an instant.

So we take that instant and add it to other instances (like the ones you might miss when you're off getting photographs taken) and then multiply it by even more instances. And then, and only then, do we begin crafting a glorious little day-in-the-life film.

And when you want to relive that glorious instant over and over again, you'll have it, right there in a neat little case.

We can also film sections of your wedding with genuine vintage Super8 film stock. You'll find out more about Super 8 a little bit further down.

Anyway, born in the 80s, Blinky is the sometimes-cantankerous Canon Auto Zoom 518 SV Super 8 camera we like to shoot with from time to time in order to bring a genuine retro look to our films.

Sadly, Super 8 film stock is becoming increasingly difficult to source. Its scarcity means it can be expensive to purchase and later on process and telecine. We do however have a limited supply and on request we can bring Blinky along to your event.
